Craig Edmunds

Chairman

Craig is the Chairman of Degree C and also the Chairman of Fairbrother Pty Ltd. Craig has built an extensive knowledge of the construction and building industry and, with his solid leadership skills, brings to the Degree C board a focus on innovation, a strategic vision for growth and a strong culture of people development.

Craig served as a member of the Tasmanian Building & Construction Training Board, including a term as Deputy Chairman and is also a past State President of the Master Builders Association of Tasmania.  In 2015, he was appointed to the Master Builders Australia National Board which included Chair of the National Work Health & Safety Committee and more recently Chair of the Finance Committee.

Michael Rogers

Director, Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of Degree C, Michael is responsible for a diverse contracting business which plays a key role in the building industry supply chain across Tasmania and beyond.

A former senior public servant, Michael has extensive experience in the property and asset management field, having managed assets valued at more than $2 billion for the Department of Health and Human Services Tasmania. Michael has more than 30 years’ experience in the building and maintenance industry and, like several of our Executive and Senior Managers, his career started in the trade and has grown steadily to encompass all facets of business management. Prior to the restructure of Fairbrother in mid-2012, Michael served as manager of the company's Facility Management business unit and of Fairbrother Developments - the company's in-house project development and prospecting arm.

Michael holds a Graduate Certificate in Social Science, a Certificate in Project Management and a Diploma in Construction and is a Director of the Tasmanian Building and Construction Industry Training Board (TBCITB).

Mark Nugent

Director, Chief Financial Officer

As Degree C’s Chief Financial Officer, Mark is responsible for providing financial leadership and governance to our Board of Directors and Business Units. Mark also leads a team of skilled professionals and administrative support staff who provide essential centralised services.

Mark’s extensive work experience encompasses business management and accounting, administration and human resources. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce through UTAS and is a member of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mark is also a Director of Fairbrother Pty Ltd, Bank of Us and a Board Member of Lifeline Tasmania.

Tim Jordan

Director, General Manager

Tim joined the Board on the 11th July 2022 as an Executive Director and is also one of two General Managers, Tim is responsible for Degree C's activities in the North West of the state and oversees our Ulverstone-based Electrical, Mechanical Services, Refrigeration, Metal Fabrication and Residential Heating and Cooling teams.

He comes from a background in the electrical trade and has wide-ranging experience delivering large-scale commercial electrical projects.

He is an enthusiastic and confident leader and has an ethos of continual improvement - whether that's providing a better outcome for clients or improving on employee development or safety practices.

Craig Ribbon

Director, General Manager

Craig joined the Board on the 11th July 2022 as an Executive Director and is also one of two General Managers. Craig is responsible for Degree C's operations in the North and South of the state and oversees our Electrical, Mechanical Services, Refrigeration and Residential Heating and Cooling teams in Launceston and Hobart.

Coming from an electrical trade background and working his way up the ranks, Craig has a great depth of knowledge of the contracting industry.

A calm and confident leader, one of Craig's greatest strengths is communication and organisation, and he is a passionate advocate for Work Health and Safety.
